I visited Crab Meadow Beach on a cold December day in 2012, not long after Hurricane Sandy had hit Long Island. The effects of Sandy on the beach were huge. It took down a fence and created all new sandbar configurations, paving the way for these lovely photos. It was high tide, and the creek at the eastern end of the beach was especially beautiful that day. I hope you enjoy the pictures, taken with my brand new Nikon D800.
